Tom Jones in Concert
It’s “not unusual” for Garritan Personal Orchestra to be heard at a Tom Jones Concert. Frank Strauss, Tom Jones’ keyboardist, has GPO loaded in a G4 rack-mounted tower and uses the sounds of GPO live and in concert.

San Jose Ballet
The San Jose Ballet, Silicon Valley, and the Chinese Performing Artists of America presented “MIDDLE KINGDOM ANCIENT CHINA” a 4-act dance production on February 10 – 13, 2005. This ballet intermingled Western ballet and traditional Chinese dance and music. There were more than 40 performing artists in this production. Phil Young composed the music for the ballet and used Garritan Personal Orchestra in the production.

Where the Wild Things Are
Steve Goers, a grammy-nominated composer in Chicago, has created the music for the first fully authorized musical adaptation of Where The Wild Things Are. Steve writes that he “used Garritan Personal Orchestra almost exclusively” on this project. The show completely sold out its first run at the Apollo Theatre, and has since been extended twice, booking almost 100 tour dates.

Cinderella
Garritan Personal Orchestra was used in the holiday production of Cinderella in Chicago at the Emerald City Theatre. Steve Goers created the music and states, “I was literally mobbed afterwards, mostly by directors and board members of the theater, asking where I had recorded the orchestra! One of the older composers who was in attendance STILL doesn’t believe it was software.”

Palm Springs Follies
Garritan Personal Orchestra is being used in the productions presented by the Palm Springs Follies.

Sarasota Ballet
Garritan Personal Orchestra was recently used in Ca D’Zan, performed with the Sarasota Ballet. This production had 14 sold out performances in Sarasota.
